Has anyone else run into not getting experience from some of the 2x to 3x variants of the prismatic fallen stars? I just got three of the large size for crafting after checking how much exp I needed to get to 78 crafting but didn't receive any exp from them after I used them. I used 15 keys yesterday and was almost positive I didn't get all the exp I should have from the stars so I actually paid attention this time to make sure I wasn't just calculating wrong lol

yeah just tried with two other ones for agility and got no experience for agility even though it said 2k+ exp each. I thought I wasn't getting exp for the stars and lamps I was getting from this new TH, Jagex please fix this, I've already wasted 15 keys before realizing I wasn't getting exp :(

Only lamps give XP.
Stars give Bonus XP.

Let's say you have 40k Bonus XP in Crafting.
What that means is that for the next 40k XP you gain while crafting, it will be doubled.
So your next 40k Crafting XP gained will actually gain you 80k.

Bonus XP means you get the bonus when you train the skill in future.

Thank you so much CuddleBucket for pointing that out. I didn't have much experience with prismatic lamps until here recently and since you said something I actually paid attention to the text when opening them and saw where it says it's rewarded as bonus exp when you're using it. I had been reading it as "you've received X amount bonus xp". Thank you so much for the clarification :)
