The below quoted is from a news post in April of 2022.

"ODDMENTS STORECONTENT IMPROVEMENTS

Added the Legendary Pets Water Lycan and Fire Lycan into the Oddments Store for 50,000 Oddments each.

Removed randomised sales from Treasure Hunter Keys, Medium Prismatic Lamps and Medium Prismatic Stars, but slightly lowered their prices.

Doubled the daily purchase caps on Treasure Hunter Keys, Medium Prismatic Lamps, Medium Prismatic Stars, Small Protean Packs, Cinder Cores and Pulse Cores in the Oddments Store."

Jagex in this update removed sales of TH keys, lowered their oddment cost to compensate and doubled our daily buy limit. This as a whole made the removal of sales seem fair.

Well since this update Jagex reduced down, without much explanation, our buy limit. Not down to its original (30) but to (10).

Is there is any explanation for this other than deceptive practices out of pure greed?

We know Jagex pays no attention to their forums so what does the community think? Rawr!

Advance Notice of Oddments Store Change

The team recently reviewed the Oddments Store changes from April and the assessed that Key Limits are out of balance with the limits on the other items in the Oddments Shop.

With next week's Game Update, the Oddments Store Daily Limit on Keys will be rebalanced to a 10 Key Daily Limit.

cool story, thanks for wasting a post quoting a news post and being the 3rd person to create a useless thread about this topic. Don't trust any pc's listed, any advice or talks between posts on ID forums anymore , the Manips are let loose, especially the main one with 15+ accounts posting acting as different people.. do your own research

^this is why MTX wins, "10 is extremely generous", yeah so generous i now have to buy more keys via real money vs using my earned in-game rewards for them on some events i like to do.

What am i saying?...I don't buy into 'gambling' treasure hunter...jagex only wishes i did.

No authority figure of 'corruption' will blind me from truth, TH is gambling :P

Unfortunately this was done to encourage more keys to be bought from jagex store seeing as how buying keys can be done any time to stock up on oddments and keys for good promos like the current academy of heroes promo and to reduce the amount of gp earned by oddment keys.
