Ok so when it comes to keys for opening the boxes there is something that sent alarm bells ringing .the chance to earn keys via completing surveys .Jadgex as always been very account security conscious but these surveys are going against the grain they ask for personal details .

ok so some things they can not ask and if they did i would not answer .but still they ask for somethings that are personal. after completing a survey and being very cautious they said i was not eligible for my reward.because i refuse to give to much information away.

now this was for just 5 keys .and i completed the survey to the very end .
regardless of what information i gave i still completed the survey and should have been rewarded.its a con .
yet jadgex is backing this and it should not be allowed.

As this is discussing earning Treasure Hunter keys, it has been moved to the Treasure hunter Forum.

I don't know that Jagex has much control over which surveys are offered and what information they request in them. Yes, you do have to be careful about which offers you try, and stick to your guns about how much information you are comfortable divulging in these surveys.

If you fully completed the offer and have not received the promised keys, see the Missing Rewards from Peanut Labs? page in the Support Centre on how to resolve the issue.

i closed the tab down so not going to worry to much about the reward its just the principle of the whole concept .the survey i took looked like it was targeting students .i am past the days of collage so another reason why i was not eligible after fully completing the survey.
but asking for personal details i found it a bit intrusive .
i'm not the first and won't be the last ,I am very cautious on who and what as me details .
something for others to be aware of .

Im late on this but let me put my 2 cents in.

I NEVER did any for keys, but i did enough on 4 different accounts to get @ 25,000
runecoins.. mind you this was over 4 accounts. I have not did this in a few years
as i have now made it to a point i can make enough in game to buy bonds easily.

I ALWAYS put in an email i made for this purpose.. the junk email you get is
stupendous. I did have to put in things like my name, sometimes my email
Once i was asked for my drs name. i logged out of that one.

Peanut always paid out the others are now not even listed. At one time there
were 3 diff companys to do surveys for.

I never was hijacked or anything. I was never asked things like my password,
my bank pin or anything RS related.

i was also leaning on the idea that when i did log into Solomons (i had to do
this to do surveys) that Jagex had my info safe. I did not log into the actual
survey site with my log in info.

As i said its now been a couple years since i did these, so i do not know if
it has changed much. And i never did for keys, only runecoins- so no idea if
that is different.

I thought i would mention all this to put you at ease and let you know that in
the past i did get surveys for RC to work.
