Did you purchase the keys through a third party provider, such as Google, Apple, Steam?
It can take 24 hours for the items to appear on your account with some payment methodds.
One thing to note is there's an ongoing issue redeeming/purchasing Treasure Hunter keys:

I did buy them through google play so that may be the issue, although I did get a confirmation from google play and runescape that the payment was received. I just didn't get anything for it :/ but thank you for the reply I get quite angsty when things don't work the way they should
