Ok so I actually just got back to runescape and had a lot of oddments to spent. Ive openned the oddment store and saw a juicy red ball telling me I would have 250% BONUS XP (burn rate).
Since my english is not the best I totally ignored the fact it says burn rate since in my primary language the order of the words meant ALOT when you order ''burn rate'' and ''bonus xp'' in the oposite way. So instantly spent all my oddments on the cinder cores thinking it was some sort of oddment special item promotion and when I tried to use I've realized this item only works with this stupid ''bonus xp'' mechanics. Now think about it, pulsecores gives you xp while skilling right? isnt pulsecores the same as these stars that gives you xp while skilling? SO WHY IN EARTH Pulses and ''Bonus xp'' are diffent stuff? In my simple player mind I just spent all I had on a useless item because the description of the item (or xp mechanic) is REALLY ambiguous. Ive searched on google and many people misunderstood the item the same way as me.
Im not asking for anything back. My post its to alert runescape team that MANY players may not understand english 100% the way it supossed to. So when you create a item that has this level of ambiguity you should DEFINITLY WARN THE DIFERENCE MORE SERIOUSLY in the mechanic it has BEFORE players buy it ESPECIALLY if its a REAL MONEY item that is NOT REFUNDABLE.
This will prevent players to felt scammed like me. I really considered quit this game when this occoured, but first I had to make this post so I could see if the Devs assume that this is a problem and will either grow with it or simply ignore it.
Thanks for your atention
