Just a heads up to whoever happens to be reading this: according to yesterday's Leads Q&A stream, Hearts of Ice will be retired at some point in the near future, and replaced with Oddments, like how Rare Item Tokens were earlier in the year.

Similar to Rare Item Tokens, Hearts of Ice will be phased out and replaced with oddments. (No ETA)

I just hate that they are replacing at a conversion rate of 5 to 1. I mean most of us paid for our keys / hearts of ice so that is a bad ratio. Why can it not be 1 to 1 or 2 to 1 ratio. I just hate it when you spend money for things and then it kind of gets treated like free content when they make changes.

At least be happy that they are giving us anything.

They couldve just removed them while doing nothing in return.

I don't like the new format because its all xp. I find it boring. Why not throw in the option of some sort of token to be saved up for something more interesting or are such items going to be added to the oddments store?
I am not happy that hearts of ice are being removed. I've always saved mine up for the special promotions that featured interesting items or skilling outfits.The exchange rate quoted in the news post is abysmal considering how few we get per day.
In its current form I give this change a zero rating.

edit to add: Is the current TH they way it will always be in the future or will non xp items get included?

Cosmetics don't make them money. In order for a cosmetic to make them money, it needs be rare like rainbow items and not like rereleased beach tokens. If a token unlock is not rare no one is going to enjoy them is much. Gp value plays a big role in a cosmetic. Did not really have any beach tokens except unlocking them all after rerelease. I need my blue charms back.
