It appears the message being broadcast loud and clear is:

This outfit is not intended to ever be worth anything! Don't invest! This is just a semi-rare outfit that everyone and their dog should be able to afford!

Not too sure why this is a message they wish to promote.

But, IF YOU ASK ME, it seems to indicate a stark lack of creative talent in the TH department.

Look. I'm not artistically talented. Shoot me. I get it, art is hard. But for the love of Guthix, there ARE talented artists out there. HIRE SOME! HOW HARD CAN THIS BE? You literally made a "new" outfit which is the EXACT SAME OUTFIT we've already had for OVER A YEAR with the tiniest of paint jobs. COME ON. This is not good enough.

If you're going to be so dopey with your "new" releases, the least you could do is give us like 8 colour variants. This is an utter joke and disappointment.

Both outfits (grey and red) are tradeable, yes. To find them in the Grand Exchange in Varrock, talk to one of the Grand Exchange clerks in the dark blue outfits and then create a buy offer, search for the term "cerberus", and you should see all of the tokens from this event as options.

The majority of them are currently selling at lower than the listed value, so now would be the ideal time to get them, while the event is still going on.

They wouldn't release 8 colour variants in one go, because those 8 different variants is 8+ years of treasure hunter health.

it's the same with everything else it's how they prolong the health of treasure hunter by adding new items, events, and different variants of previous items (gem items -> shadow gem items).

so when a new set (if they continue it in future years) comes out they'll either keep the first set of cerberus in to just make it a less % of being obtainable, or they'll remove the first set and just have the infernal and [new] set in there. Mod Poerkie:

So by that logic, they might as well fire their entire artistic team, since they can just release one new recoloured outfit every month and have "content" ready for release for the next 20+ years.

I disagree I love the direction they are headed! We need more variety!!! infernal cerberus is sick, maybe we can get some new gem stuff too, like blood gem capes and crowns too. I <3 tokens, Rares and cosmetics so much, again just having variety! This game has needed new Rares in the form of tokens for so long imo, but oh well i'm just one player. Anyways thanks Jagex and Carlyle Group for the hard work, and getting our accounts fixed <3 I enjoy looking forward to the future updated. peace :P happy scaper Rares are the foundation of Runescape. Its what seperates it from all other games, and makes it truly unique. One of a kind game. ;) possibilities are endless.

I see nothing worng with outfit varriants... games do this all the time.

that being said too many of them could be a bad thing.

I personally prefer the red set to the blackish gray set anyways. Lost Woods numba 1, (NOT EE, Those scrubs are liars ;p)
