I always enjoy reading about other fansites New Years Resolution, and see everyone meet those goals. One thing I hope for next year to happen is the Fansite Staff forums be more active, something that takes everyone to accomplish and really improve the foundation we have here. So if it takes one person to help start and lead that improvement I am willing to set that as my goals and I plan to really start that now. I understand life can be busy but I am going to at least make a post once a month or make a thread of suggestions, ideas or even general chatter.
But first off I would like to clear the atmosphere we have here with a few words and suggestions. We all made a few mistakes this year in 2014 and really didn't come together as one when it came to a few issues. Something I wish to suggest going forward is lets start dropping the past, and look into the future, what is done is done nothing we can do or change to fix that. Lets all be honest with one another and lets all be fair and nice, we already started a great Community and lets keep pushing to make it better with our fansites.
One thing I learned this year even more is Jagex can't always be their for me and I can't always get the crazy resources I desire, because they are a big Game Developer and still have to keep some cards to them self
. But I know no matter what if I send the right email they would try their best to make it work, which makes them amazing. The created something useful for us to use and we should take full advantage of that. But we should really work towards helping one another and not use each other to steal ideas or take traffic away from one another.
I am fully learning that it is still hard to start off with a new fansite, and I hope one day my fansite can be useful for other long time Fansites. I plan to really work with all the current long time fansites come 2015 and I hope you all are willing to work with me to.
