Fansite Support - Updated List

Hi everyone,

Earlier this month Mod MattHe independently audited all of the currently supported fansites and reviewed where they should be placed in the new support structure. I read over his audit and agreed fully with his recommendations. Here's the current updated support list:

Foreign Language Sites (recognised):

If your fansite doesn't appear on the list above, then it has either been deemed too inactive/out of date to recognise as a fansite, it's focus is OSRS (please contact the OSRS CM team), or we feel your fansite does not yet meet our community requirements, which could be a number of things, such as not having an active user base or not hosting any events.

I thought /r/runescape met all of the requirements for official status, but I guess our position is very unique compared to other "fansites" so I assume that might be cause for it.

Just know that all of us are very interested and willing to continue or improve (if need be) our relationship. Just let us know what we can do and we'll work together.

Is there anywhere we can link to to show we are "recognized"?

Also, were there emails sent out? Cause we haven't had any emails in forever.

I would like to say Congradulations to the Foreign Fansites who are now listed which I think is a amazing step forward. I do see that my fansite ScapeCentral/CrusadersScape is not listed anymore which is unfortunate but I know why. Currently I am facing a lot of real life issues as far as me losing my Job and other things. So its been really hard for me to be Active. Currently most of my staff members has been inactive because of my inactive and not really pushing them to help out.

There is somethings as far as Competitions I still wish to do with Jane I have sent a email about this and have not gotten a response from her if I am still able to do this with out having any support.

I understand the audit of my site and accept that, but I hope that does not affect things I already had planned before the Fansite Support changes.

Hi DieHunted ,

Mod Jane is extremely busy running events including RuneFest at the moment - resend the idea to the fansites email and we'll have a look to see if it is something we can help with.

Is there going to be some kind of monthly/bi-monthly review on recognised fansites to see if they are eligible to become an official Jagex approved fansite?

If not can we submit a review request when we think our fansite is up-to the requirements needed for Official Jagex Approved Fansite?

Email have not been sent out yet - we will look at providing details, images and the suchlike in the next few weeks.
