Can I just assume with the recent thread "
Fansite Support Changes
" that any fansite that is not a part of Jagex Official Approved fansites is not is not going to be apart of RuneFest as far as what Jagex did for fansites last year for RuneFest. Because then I would not have worry about doing any last minute changes. Although I don't know where my fansite would fit during this "audit" I can only assume base off all the other amazing fansites where it would be.
The only reason I ask for this answer is because I have things planned and if it is a last minute thing it might ruin my chances of going. But I am still working hard to go to Runefest which is why my activeness is down.
Sorry for making a lot of threads about RuneFest but the big reason why I want to go is because of the future of my Fansite and really a big time to meet a lot of players and let them in on what ScapeCentral will be about. So not having a lot of answers about RuneFest and fansites only make me build a lot of questions and wonder and since I really hate last minute announcements because that means more money out my pocket to fix somethings.
Hopefully we get some news before this month ends...
In previous years the official involvement from fansites at RuneFest has been Platinum and Gold fansites being allocated time slots at the fansite booth which, to be honest, do not sound like they generate a huge amount of interest because there's usually something else going on at the time (as there is all day).
Best thing to do in my opinion is what RuneSlayer did last year which was hand out wrist bands and pens to people in the queue (which I still have
) which certainly generated interest and awareness of the site.
RHQ staff turned up in RHQ t-shirts which made them easily identifiable.

That is something I already had in mind especial with my Site Real life bond emblems which only a few JMods have currently. But I was really hoping to have some RuneFest entry tickets which will allow me the chance to just worry about Flight and hotel cost.
