The RuneScape Wiki (and other fansites I'm sure) need an updated world map image.

This is the current one we are using: http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20140204001713/runescape/images/1/10/RuneScape_Worldmap.png
It works with our own interactive map found here: http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Map:World_map

It was last updated in February. When it comes to the world map, we are at the mercy of Jagex. The world map on the Jagex Wiki is old, the downloadable world map from the website is even older.

Taking the image ourselves doesn't seem to work - every time we go to a new area to splice together the pictures, all the buildings seem to resize themselves.

Is it too much to ask for a place where we can get an updated world map? If so, can we at least have a more-current one now? (:

This would be amazing. I've struggled so much in the past, not just with building resizing but when the colours decide to turn a slightly different shade. It makes a lot of it unusable. Den Leader of the new fansite

Hey guys!

I managed to put together a usable world map along with visible names and icons.

If you guys find any errors e.g. pixels out of place please let me know and I will correct it. I have looked through it and tidied it up so it should be fine.

I have also uploaded three formats of the map including a PSD here:

If you guys want I can add custom place name tags over the next couple of days, so do say if you would like that also you may request the map without icons or some kind of variation and I will get it sorted.
