Something I've suggested in the past was for JMod(s) to visit the supported fansite clan and/or friend chats every so often. Having that golden crown pop into chat and just having fun with the players for a little bit is always a nice thing to see. It would not be expected to learn new information nor check out troubled accounts... it's just a chance to interact with the players of our sites in game.

It does not have to be on a regular schedule, and it does not have to be for a long period of time that you spend in the chat. Ideally different JMods could pop into chat from time to time, though if it's the same one every time, that's not a horrible thing either. Preferably it doesn't need to happen at the same time each day that you join in so different players can see you each time.

If you do intend to do this, I suppose you'll need an easy list of what to access, so I'll start that list off with my site, I'll add onto this post any other sites that decide to post names CC or FC names, and we'll go from there!

Name of chat | Supported Site
Clan Chats:
- CzechoSlovak Forces
- RSPortugal
- RuneHQ
- RuneScape Revolution
- ZybezNet

Friend Chats:
- Csfo | Czecho-Slovak Forces
- Portugalchat | RSPortugal
- Serpent Eye | Tip.It
- Zchat | Zybez
- Lunatip | Lunagang

That would be something neat to do for Supported fansites, although my Fansite does not have a set Clan Chat/Friend Chat, but it is something I am looking to do in the future. But for those fansites who currently do have one and would like a JMod visit it would be nice for players to interact with a JMod during the given time that they visit.

But I do know some Jmods wouldn't mind popping into a CC or FC if you give them a nudge about it.

But I am in support of this if Infinity decides to implement something like this. This can be added to the "So, who's who" thread that shows the Fansite FC/CC if they have one.

This is a great idea! We run Clan Chat for RS3 and Friends Chat for Oldschool RS. JMods visiting us would be a great and appreciated support.

Sure, why not.

But, wouldn't it be more useful to post on fansites' forums instead? That would leave something to enjoy for someone who is not online at that time, especially as the chats are so fragmented nowadays.

We have two accounts belonging to former Dutch Jmods who did so in the past, including a special banner to prevent impersonation, though that has never been an issue.
Might be a good idea to create an account that is shared with future fansite curators though..

I've updated the list in post 1 to include everyone thus far. I am actually in favor of what DieHunted suggested of having this information be included in the "So, who's who?" topic since it's already sorted by site. Den Leader of the new fansite
