Same, I have a GMail with 2-step protection activated purely for RuneScape. I'd strongly recommend doing that as well. In regards to the email; I am most certain that's why Dan sent out a second one

As Mexk and Skiller said, make sure you have a 2 step protection for RS alone. It was just a mistake, I doubt Silent meant for it to happen, and I don't think anyone in this group will do anything with each other's email anyway. Everyone seems friendly and reliable here.

Why are you being spammed? I'm not sure why anyone in this group would spam you. Personally I have only recieved emails from Jagex, and I don't use the email they contact me on for my Runescape account.
I'm not sure if anyone here would hack you either..

Sorry for late reply, been busy all week looking for job.
It was basically someone spamming my email address like 5-10 times per day saying stuff like "GO on this site, its really good" blah blah blah...
It literally started happening a few hours after I received that email by silent (P.S. I love silent, I got him added and hes got me added, so not saying its his fault or anything, we all make silly mistakes sometimes).
+ its stopped now so its all cool. Just was kinda annoyed at the start. I am a very simple person. I dont complicate things. I don't have like 10 emails etc, 1 for each game or nothing like that.
I regret making this post tbh, I was just annoyed at the start, now I am better.
And yes! The YouTube Runescape community is extremely friendly
