So Cyclosis' Maoi leaks positive energy.
The Cyclopes on the island are all happy and positive.

So is the energy leaking out positive because of the happy spirits of the inhabitants of the island?
or are the inhabitants of the island all joyful because of their exposure to the positive energy?
or is it some sort of cyclical effect with each feeding off the other?

I don't think that cyclops built 2 eyed stone heads for emotion/anima storage though they could learn to live with them in mood symbiosis.
