After playing this game for 9 years I decided to do as many quests as possible without guides like I have in the past. I have recently finished several elf quests like Mourning's End 2 it occurred to me that Jagex has some deviously intelligent people making puzzles on their team.
I joked around saying I would probably have to solve a puzzle involving bouncing distinct animal noises across a specialized room to unlock their hearing aides so that I can even talk to them. But the more I thought about it, the more it became apparent: They're gods on a level beyond what we've seen before.
What if their lives are puzzles?
Does Jagex staff have to solve puzzles to even work with them?
If they were on snack duty, would they lock everyone's pizza inside a box that must be solved by teaching a parrot to sing Beethoven's fifth symphony to boulder so it can be rolled onto a unicorn to obtain its horn that contains the key?
What if Jagex couldn't fire them because their puzzles protected them?
What if their puzzles were the key to allowing us to have some of the most popular updates?
Was the wilderness and free trade locked away from us until Jagex solved an intricate light puzzle that used their entire building?
What if a puzzle prevented Jagex from patching Construction and caused 6/6/06?
Was EoC was just the result of a decade long puzzle?
What if the more puzzles we solve, the stronger they get?
Are quests and dungeoneering nothing but a life source for our gods?
Are our very lives simply a puzzle formed by Chris and Dylan so they can continue to live?
Is cancer is simply a puzzle they developed that doctors have yet to solve?
Are pures just atheists that reject their divine design?
Was the illuminati on our side the whole time?
Did we ever have free choice to begin with?
Are Chris and Dylan the ultimate quiz masters and our existence is just one big random event we've been caught in for trillions of years?
Discuss.
