After that a-maze-ing quest, we found out that Sliske had been siphoned into the Player. The question is what is Sliske's true intention?

Was it Sliske's plan to be siphoned all along? What about the Stone Of Jas? Did he just bank on the hopes that the victor would misuse the Stone for their own personal gain? Did he foresee or ensure that the Stone of Jas would be broken by the Dragonkin?

Sliske's master was revealed to be the Elder God Jas but was Sliske truly subservient to his "master"? Sliske could have easily taken control of us and let Jas know that he is still alive and well. However, it seemed like Sliske was just merely taking advantage of Jas' powers which could nullify all the Gods' powers. This would allow him to attack the Player fairly without being overpowered by all the Gods that were present there.

Why did Sliske wake Jas anyway? Maybe Sliske truly wanted to ascend to godhood in order not to be burdened by the Ritual of Rejuvenation but he knew using the Stone of Jas had serious consequences as evident by Lucien's demise. Maybe he awoke Jas, hoping to be rewarded by allowing him to ascend but Jas made him to be her agent instead.

Sliske might have killed multiple birds with one stone by allowing himself to be siphoned into the player. Firstly, he found a means to beat "death" since we are the World Guardian and are not allowed to die. Secondly, he could use this chance to "escape" both from being Jas' agent and from the other gods so that he can continue to pursue his schemes. Thirdly, he has "killed" his boredom since he can now control the World Guardian and use our anti-god powers to stir a huge mess. With many of the gods who side with the Player, it may be a perfect backstab opportunity to kill off some gods.

ESPECIALLY that now he has the Staff of Armadyl.

Or maybe he is truly loyal to the Elder God Jas and we could be the "catalyst" that wakes up all the other Elder Gods and it will be our fault all hell is unleashed on Gielinor.

I dont think it was part of his plan. He was genuinely surprised that he couldn't re-enter the Shadow Realm. He was angered that we had ruined his plan and the World Guardian Unleashed power was a total surprise to everyone. I think it was a spur the moment fail safe to cheat death. Remember in Children of Mah, Sliske states that he has plans for when his back up plans fail and even plans for when those plans fail. He's very crafty but this is not the ideal situation for him. I have seen the dark universe yawning, where the black planets roll without aim;
Where they roll in their horror unheeded, without knowledge or lustre or name.

Sliske studied soul transference.
He siphoned a piece of the World Guardian, enough apparently to infuse Wight Nomad with the same trait.

Keep in mind: SLISKE WAS WORKING FOR AN ELDER GOD.

Being of such ... everything ... they barely notice life itself.
Zaros' request to become an Elder was outright dismissed by Jas, even though he was clearly a child of Mah and had Mah's core, and had some sort of potential.
Even the Elder God's assistants (Tok-haar, voices, attendants) are not given a second thought.

Personally, I think Sliske was scamming Jas for as long as he could for a mix of desperation, giggles, and to simply see if he could.

But, Guthix comes along and creates someone that is an anti-god.
A being which can even resist the powers of an Elder God.

Sliske learns about how to transfer a soul.
He takes a fragment of the World Guardian.
Studies it, experiments with it.
Then a situation arises where he realizes he's toast.
The Stone of Jas is destroyed. Even if Jas didn't discard him for that, the young Gods certainly WOULD kill him.
But first, he tries the revenge angle on the World Guardian.
He fails.
He realizes his death is coming anyways, so he plays his final trump card: he figured out how to make his soul compatible with the World Guardian's.

Worst case, he still lives on in a vessel that gives him one of the best chances to survive.
Best case, he hijacks the World Guardian's body for his own (one of those battles in the center of mine situations) and gets another chance to live again ... and might even be able to body surf for the rest of time (like Apocolyse from the last Xmen movie, of Captain Ginyu in Dragonball Z).

think of the opportunities for fun you could have with that?
could you imagine what could happen if he figured out how to soul swap with an Elder God?
