(also I'm thinking if that dialogue reminds me of anything, it's the Crwys Clan -- and not just because Solak's a massive tree, but because of a specific focus on the power of nature)
Whatever she and her brother were to start off with, she's apparently "clanless now".
ooo I didn't read the dialogue until now
very very interesting indeed
maybe Iowerth was the only clan that was effected by her corruption the most which is why I first thought of it too but yes it does seen to point to Crwys
there's still so much we don't know about it

I don't think it's ever been stated that elves that are related have to be in the same clan, her and her sibling could be in different clans.
"Clan" does imply family by default.
There's also Elen Anterth in the Max Guild who says:
Original message details are unavailable.
My family falls under the auspices of Clan Cadarn.
Which definitely seems to imply that certain families will belong to certain clans.
I'd say it's definitely possible for elves to switch to a clan different from their family, but that's prob not what happened here. I think the "elf being darkness" is something other than Iorwerth-related, since they aren't known for being mages. Maybe dark magic, maybe just his own state of being was a bad influence on the magic around him. /shrug
