Prepare to judge my life.

For my Junior thesis in my Abnormal PsychPathology course, I have to preform a Case Study on a significant person that can be easily researched.

Of course, literally everyone is going the Serial Killer, or Trump, or their favorite Disney Character route, and I'm not about to beat a dead horse, so I'm being *that guy* and doing a RuneScape character, because y'all know that if you play this game you're some sort of mad.

Last semester I did a motivational study on Sliske (judge me), so I'm not allowed to do him again, so I'm deciding between Seren and Zaros.

Who do you guys think has the most lore behind their personalities that I could pull apart and judge and diagnose them, as you are judging me.

Seren is far more interesting and far more worthy of writing about in my opinion. The motivations for her actions are particularly interesting. Some people interpret her as entirely selfless, while interpret her as entirely selfish. (IMO she is addicted to being loved, and will lie, harm and kill others to for this sake)

Zaros whole he is a cool character, won't really be that satisfactory in my opinion. He's not written at all like a being of pure-logic, but rather a mix and match of ruthlessness and ambition. You'll probably just end up with a similar case study as all your classmates if you do him.

Saradomin would be really cool to do btw.

Sliske
Evil Bob
Evil Dave
Solus Delgar (?) (guy from Wanted)
Caan (carn ... the villain from Three's Company)
Brassica Prime
Bandos
The player character (if you consider combat, slayer, thieving, the lack of concern for the environment from skills like woodcutting and firemaking or disregard for animal life in hunter and fishing, or just from some of the most brutal choices you can intentionally make in quests)

I suppose the player character is a complete banana ball.if you consider the mass murder of everything from quest NPCs to tasks. not a single qualm about doing it all again, but as they are offered choices which are purely for players, rather than being a consistent character with their own personality, that makes a normal comparison redundant. Otherwise the Player Character is completely divorced from most emotional consequences.

About 2% of people could shoot someone in the face and not really have it bother them. And by that I mean they are a shooter, not Skinnerian trained reflex, but able to do it on their own. That 2% divide in to near enough 2 groups, pychos (not necessarily psychopaths) and the kind who ended up looking after everyone as a kid and goes out to win medals (you don't get medals for killing people only saving them, a feeling of parental responsibility carrying on over in to a soldier role).

If you tried to analyse the player character, you'd have to wonder which category they fall into. But not enogh is know about their past, Seren and Zaros at least have some insight.
The purpose of adventure is to shine light into dark places,
Poke monsters with a sharp stick, Then steal anything that isn't nailed down!

You'd have far more material on Seren than Zaros. Either her or Saradomin would be good choices, I think.

You dork.

P.S. Don't do a study of a blank slate MMORPG player character, for fuck's sake.
Patrolling Lore FC almost makes you wish for a Great Revision.

But he hates Saradomin to the point of expressing violence tendencies towards us/him in posts? Have you seen the posts that talk about killing the faction(us) aka Saradomin? So it's just going to be a rant most likely tbh.

Who, the OP? Huh, don't think I ever noticed.

^_^

Edit: I don't want to kill his followers, just Saradomin himself.

(I will say, however that the Lore Corner the other day did redeem him a bit, but not enough)
