Hello,

I have not finished Sliske's Endgame personally (I cannot get past the 3v1 fight) but I have seen a stream of the whole quest and I am just so confused. I have so many questions and I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could answer any of them!

1) How did Sliske manage to "turn off" the gods' powers in the maze? I get that he "used" the Stone of Jas, but how?? Was Jas herself involved in this?

2) When did Sliske become Jas's agent? What was he assigned to do, and why couldn't Jas just do it herself?

3) Saradomin's daughter?? Should be dead?? Mortality?? What is the point??

4) Where did the Staff of Armadyl come in? Was Sliske using it in the boss fight and I just didn't notice? It seems to me like it appeared out of nowhere for plot convenience.

5) Where did the magic world guardian power come from? Like the Staff of Armadyl, it seems like it just came out of nowhere??

6) So Sliske spent these past three years holding a competition just to give the stone to someone so another God Wars could happen that was more powerful than before? Why not just ascend himself and start the violence years ago? Why not just put it on top of the Grand Exchange fountain and have them fight over it?

7) Why couldn't he use the shadow realm before we killed him?

8) How can he control the player after his death?

9) How is Sliske so powerful? Saradomin notes that Sliske hasn't used the stone to ascend, yet he is still capable of summoning tons of wights while taking on both Zaros AND Seren?

10) How did Sliske survive not attending the final rejuvenation?

11) How did the dragon kin break into the final room?

12) Is anyone else still confused as to why Linza became a Barrows? It just seems like an unnecessary plot device for the Barrows quest and her role could have been replaced with Arkisae in this quest. I just don't really get it.

13) How long has Jas been awake?

Those are all for now, please reply!!

1. Yes. Similar to how Guthix manipulated the anima to expel the Gods. Jas used to to take away their power.

2. Sometime before KS. Jas is kinda... huge... and bad at communicating with mortals. The real question is why.

3. She might have been conceived not too long ago. Or she may have some god powers.

4. Sliske was supposed to wield it during the fight. Mods admitted quest was a bit rushed so they couldn't fit that in with graphics.

5. kinda purposely left ambiguous. My theory is that it only activates when the World is truly in immediate danger- like Sliske was about to convince Jas to blow us up or something. Who knows.

6. He wanted to whittle down the number of the gods, and gather intelligence of his own. Plans changed when he allied with Jas it seems.

7. We broke his toys

8. He's not dead. His soul is inside us now.

9. The staff helped. He's a well known necromancer, and has been building up his forces for a while. Zaros and Seren were also weakened in part by the anima stuff.

10. My guess is Jas prevented Mah from draining him. Or he used the staff to manipulate his connection to Mah and prevent the drainage.

11. Sliske couldn't banish them either. Kerapac just walked in like we did.

12. They forgot Akrisae existed.

13. Unclear.

Thank you, HalfCentaur!

2. We know it is before KS, but do we know a more specific time frame then that? Before Guthix woke up? Was she ever asleep? I guess this might be something we'd have to find out later.

4. Hopefully they fix that. Seems unacceptable.

5. The player character didn't seem surprised though, which is weird. I wish they showed that the character was also confused, because now it seems like I was missing something.

7. He doesn't need those toys to use the shadow realm, surely??

12. Yeah it's a shame. I wish KS was kind of a sequel to DoC where Saradomin tries to revive Arkisae to learn more about Sliske. Though that would require RotM, which would be too high a req for KS.

2. I don't think we know more, but I'd postulate after he acquired the Stone of Jas.

4. Yep, they're going to patch a bunch of things when replay-ability gets introduced. Hopefully that's one of them.

5. Idk, it seems tied to our emotional state perhaps. It's possible that given the power flowing through us at the time, we couldn't process confusion. I honestly don't know. It seems reminiscent of the 'touching the stone of jas' stuff to me.

7. From DaT, we know that Sliske had been toying with the edges of the Shadow realm to disallow most people (including Kharshai) access to it. It's quite possible without his toys his tricks turned against him.... Or he wanted us to beat him.

12. Idk, we'll have to wait and see how the mods respond to Akrisae. It stinks that these questions weren't answered sooner, but if Akrisae is also free from Sliske, I'd imagine we'd see him ally with or attempt to ally with Saradomin in the future. An agent like Akrisae would be very helpful to Saradomin. And the wand would be quite the motivator for Akrisae.
