Guthixianism isn't necessarily Norse, but general Pagan belief, of which pre-Roman Norse folk were a part of.
A couple of interesting things are those in-game religions and beliefs that come from out-of-world. There is a world called Teragard, the homeworld of humans, said to be a colder planet.
The Fremennik afterlife that we visit in Blood Runs Deep is actually the afterlife for Teragard. Though not mentioned by name, it is effectively Asgard/Valhalla.
(Which is infinitely interesting to me, given that we know thus far that Teragard's high society and civilization have turned to scientific means - utilizing The Schism, a hole to Gielinor, as the power-source for the world. Mad-Scientist-Vikings? Magiscience-Viking-Mages?)
However, there is one other afterlife that some of the Fremennik claim to go to - one that is only mentioned by name once in-game; Niflheim. It turns out that this is simply the afterlife for Gielinor, the Grim Underworld.
Those who die glorious deaths as heroes and revel in their old culture are ferried to the Teragardian afterlife, but those others who feel disconnected from their old culture because of their inglorious deaths are instead ferried to Gielinor's afterlife, and not (what I am calling) Asgard.
Now, the comparison to Asgard is interesting because of one thing.
There is a world of 'beautiful fire' called Muspell, which is another thing ripped directly from Norse mythology: Muspelheim. It was intended to be the homeworld of the Auspah, a race enslaved and eradicated by the Fremennik barbarians in the 2nd Age on Gielinor.
(Side-note: V, god-hero of the Fremennik, also dealt with the Queen of Ashes, whose motif is fire and radiance, and he had nasty things to say - it may be that she originated from Muspell as well.)
In Norse myth, Asgard and Muspelheim are destined to war at Ragnarok. Surtr and the fire giants are meant to destroy Bifrost, the bridge to Asgard, starting the end of the world. Food for thought.
