Where's lore for this boss?

If you think about it, most bosses in the game have some sort of backstory or purpose that's explained. The Heart's bosses do, the God Wars Dungeon generals do, the Corporeal beast does, the Barrows Brothers, the Queen Black Dragon and the Legiones definitely do...even the giant mole came into existence from a farming disaster!

But there are also bosses who have not been explained very well. The vampyres were said to live in great fear of the Araxytes...but this has only been mentioned once. I'd love to know more about Araxxor and his wife!

One of my favorite bosses: Vorago. We know he used to be a destructive monster, but *someone* made the Maul of Omens and smashed his face in with it. Who was this person, and what happened to them?

Lastly, the Chaos Elemental. It's pUre A cHaOs of crEatuRe, but do we know anything more? It certainly has a sense of humor if you interpret its letters as canon.

I hope we get to know more about these characters soon!

Vorago had and still has really ****** lore. He's a anima construct that was being repressed by Guthix's presence once he died Vorago came to life.

Don't even ask about arraxor there's nothing.

The chaos elemental has no defined origin. We don't know where he came from. I head canon he's a creation of the Forit*ry blast, but I've nothing to back this up.

These bosses are normally looked at by the lore community as faults in the lore. Sorry there's not much here to find.

I don't see how. jagex wants to make a hard boss. they dont particular want to write a great deal of lore for the boss, they really only want to make the boss difficult and/or fun to fight.
so they write two lines of lore that say the boss is megapowerful and... maybe one day, there will be some actual lore on them

the old bosses didnt have those two lines at all, and some lore was added later. "I have no idea why this boss is so powerful, but he/she is, so deal with it' (the gwd bosses, with exception of k'ril, are far stronger than the nearly all of their sort (and even k'ril was back in 2008), the kq is stronger than siimply being a giant bug* would explain and the same explanation for the giant mole)

or 'this boss is a bloody dragon, did you think this was going to be easy?' (the kbd)

*I kind of really wanted a cockroach queen as an ftp boss for a long time. not that cockroaches have queens, but it would mirror the kalphite hive which also has multiple tiers of bugs Carn

Vorago is a construct of anima.

His prime directive currently is to protect the deep places of Gielinor (presumably to protect the plane's anima).

At some point in the past, he rampaged on the surface of Gielinor before being defeated with the maul of omens.

Oh, and he can channel significant amounts of Gielinor's anima into himself in order to vastly increase his own strength and can unleash this power in a large blast.

Araxxor/Araxxi is an Araxyte. Although similar to spiders, Araxytes differ from spiders in that they have only 7 eyes. Equally so, the Slayer helm does not recognize them as spiders, indicating some notable difference to spiders.

Araxxor/Araxxi and other Araxytes only live in the Araxyte hive on Gielinor. This reflects the idea of them preying on Vampyres (staying close to their prey).

Araxytes purportedly favor preying on Vampyres, which would mean they have some method of circumventing the Vampyres' natural mind reading abilities.

Araxxor and Araxxi are mates.

Based on the boss fight, the continued survival and security of the hive appears paramount to the Araxyte. Araxxor defends the hive from the initial intrusion before allowing Araxxi to consume him should he fail so that she is more capable of repelling or killing the intruder.

The Chaos Elemental, as the name would suggest, is an elemental of the runic element of chaos.

Considering it drops ancient warrior equipment, it is likely that the elemental's creation and composition has something to do with the beings killed by the blast that turned Forinthry into the Wilderness (much like the only other source of this equipment: Revenants).

The Chaos Elemental appears to have some precognitive capabilities, but is incapable or unwilling to communicate this information in a straightforward method.

Given its location and moniker, it is likely a result of or was empowered by the Wilderness's creation.
