Can't start Children of Mah?

You only need the requirements to start a quest, but in order to start Children of Mah, you need to get to Koschei. Koschei appears at the Ritual Site (Need Ritual of the Mahjarrat) or in the Relleka basement of the helm shop (Only after Koshei's Troubles which also requires RotM). So I don't understand how I'm supposed to start this quest which I desparately want for the lore and the ability to fight nightmares for slayer xp. Please halp!

Looking at your RuneMetrics profile, you have done The Light Within and Dishonour Among Thieves, but not RotM or Blood Runs Deep (And therefore have no way of doing Koschei's Troubles), so you need to talk to his Sixth Age version. However, he isn't at the Ritual Site. You need to head to the area north of Relleka where you can mine bane ore, which is northwest of the Ritual Site. This shouldn't require RotM, as this version of Kharshai was explicitly designed to not require RotM.

Thank you so much! I found him and can start the quest, I couldn't find this answer anywhere else and searched for a good 2 hours while hitting 99 prayer. For real, you're a life saver, and now I can help others who want to do this quest and don't have all the excess fat done as well.

ROTM is not "excess fat". It's one of the best quests in the game. You should do it after you finish CoM :)
