So, as we know from the recent quest, Children Of Mah, all of the Mahjarrat, even Hazeel, who was once a Mahserrat, has a gemstone to represent the fact that they are a Mahjarrat. The gemstone is WHO they are, their memories, their personalities.

So why in Zaros' flaming shadow does Sliske not have a gemstone?!? Notably, he was also absent from the final ritual of rejuvination, meaning that he has gained none of Mah's power.

Could this mean that Sliske has multiple personality disorder? Does this mean that Sliske, the Mahjarrat who is heavily shown to have an obsession with Dramas and Plays and MASKS, has no gemstone because he IS a mask, and the real Sliske is underneath a very complex (And maybe literal) mask, a wretch who should have died long ago....

What do you think?

I did used to think he was wearing a mask, but we've seen his 6th age regenerated look, he looks pretty much the same as every Mahjarrat now so. Meh to that.

As for his Gem, I thought he did have one, just covered by his hood..

if not, Kharshai was able to remove his, but couldn't stray far from it, Maybe it's in his pocket or something? It's quite, or rather was quite, the weakness of the Mahjarrat race. if that's destroyed their connection to Mah would be lost and they'd be drained massively of their power.

I'd find it interesting if he is the only Mahjarrat still bound by the ritual, although he does have other power sources to call on I suppose.

In his original model at least, he did not have a gemstone, and was/is the only skeletal Mahjarrat to not have one.

He is shown with one in the Children of Mah Mahjarrat concept art though, but this could just be an oversight.

Anyway, we may or may not have found it in Kindred Spirits...

The orrery clicks open revealing a strange crystalline object hidden away. Touch the crystal?

The cutscene with Sliske's master then plays... and the crystal shatters afterwards.

The crystal appears to have shattered and no longer does anything.
You never were our brightest star, Khazard. 'Vermin slaughtered like lambs'? What does that even mean?

Maybe he is a Mahserrat imposing as a Mahjarrat and Mahserrats don't originally have crystals? Don't forget to check Jagex's Scamming Prevention Guide, under Support.
Actually, make sure you read everything in the Support Centre.

Maybe he just doesn't like the look of it and has shapeshifted so it's inside his head or something. I don't personally think Mahjarrat have any internal organs (just loads of magical energy swirling around), so there's nothing to get in the way. That's fairly unlikely though. I prefer the idea that he either removed it in his quest to gain a proper soul, or it's simply hidden behind the hood. -
I have noticed your kind does tend to blindly stumble forward towards danger simply because it exists. What is your word for that?

If you look closely, Wahisietel actually has four. It's clearer in the image from Wahisietel's post. The art also shows Akthanakos with three, Bilrach with five, and Sliske with two. The former two are reflected in their Children of Mah models, and Bilrach has five in his Nadir model.

So it looks intentional that some mahjarrat have more than one gem.

You're used to think alot huh! But thinking isn't enought, you need to sacrifice the soil and dig deeper! It'll grow back in time, simply.

So my resolution to this ritual babble is end of fun, so be sure to steer of if your lousy dramatote. Given the corrupt elder is dead, it would mean no power is drawn from the mahjarrathings anymore, and the slither may linger as usual...

And why i highlight your dull post, dear Papa Smurf Jr, is of no cruel intent? No! I'm sure you can gather well of this by now~
