I thought it would be because the creature was newly born, and at its weakest.
Also because of the crude (but brilliant) way it was put together.
And because it had no sense of self yet. So it was unable to put together a coherent defense or usage of its powers.

Because of these factors, it was possible to kill it with the Zappers around the room.

1) Because I'm the World Guardian--as I stated in game.

2) Because I am awesome.

3) Because I am the most powerful being in existence, so much so that even DBZ characters stare in awe at my overpowered abilities.
Runescape doesn't need a hero...it needs a villain. An all encompassing force of evil that will remain ever-threatening and use chaos to make the peoples of Gielinor tolerate each other, grow strong together, and fight side by side against this evil. I am that villain.

Because it isn't good enough yet. That's why Dr. Fenkenstrain is making a new one daily - He tells us how the fact that it didn't kill us means it's not yet ready, so he'll be trying a better one each day until he has a capable protector of the mountain.
The Asgarnian ale must flow.

I've been wondering, why were we able to defeat a God Construct in the 2016 H'ween event?

(excluding because it said to do so in the script)

1. If you completed the World Wakes quest, SPOILER ALERT.
When Guthix is dying, he gives you some of his power, that deflect divine magic/energy in a way that prevents you from becoming a god, and dying by one blast of the gods.
So this being said, we are pretty much almost immune to the deadly attack. But overall we did face worst.

2. The construct is also not "complete" Despite us being the world guardian of this Gielinor, the people of DOD don't understand that meaning, and would shrug it off blaming the construct failure.

Compared to the amount of divine energy that are in actual gods that construct was nothing. I'd consider it fairly impressive that creature born from such a small fraction of the gods' power was that formidable actually. I mean, it was pretty much invulnerable to physical attacks, and it survived a ludicrous amount of electricity surging through its body. All that from a being that's less than 1% of a god (if we're being generous). I'd say it's very similar to Tarshak as far as power goes, though a bit weaker. -
I have noticed your kind does tend to blindly stumble forward towards danger simply because it exists. What is your word for that?
- We call it being a hero.

How do you compare two amounts without knowing the quantities of said two amounts :P

Well, considering how we don't even get close to using up all the enegy Fenkenbrain has stored, which would most likely be nowhere near all of it that exists in the world...
