Just a thought here because I was just wondering: Can the Elder Artefacts really be destroyed completely? Or are they just shattered into pieces that retain some of the power of the whole thing?
First, let's take a look at the Blade. Guthix used it to literally cut open portals leading to different realms and it's also used to separate elements cleanly and precisely. After accidentally cutting too deep into the Void, he managed to shatter it into pieces, most of which lay on a table in his chamber from TWW, and apparently use the Catalyst's power to fuse some of the pieces into making more portals into Gielinor. This suggests that the Blade's abilities and uses still survive in the pieces that are around.
And then there is the Catalyst. Although it was shattered by Kerapac in the Heart after he used the Elder Mirror to multiply anima from the surrounding area, and redirect it into the Stone until it exploded, it seems that some pieces remain. This is shown with three fragments that Relomia gives us after completing Sliske's Endgame; the Runecrafter's, Hunter's, and Farmer's fragments. These pieces can be combined for all the effects of the fragments.
Another piece that can potentially be found after Sliske's Endgame is the one Nomad takes during DAT, if you don't try to stop him. His Soul Blast attack during Nomad's Elegy gets stronger if you let him take it, but one other question I would like to ask is, does this affect Nomad during the Endgame after he gets taken by Sliske? And what happens to that piece afterwards?
There is something else to consider as well. Is it possible that the Stone's curse might still be affecting the Dragonkin if remaining fragments are being used? And will they go after anyone who is using them? This might be another part of Sliske's plan to cause mayhem and have fun.
Please feel free to post your opinions on this.

From what it seems they can only be broken, but not destroyed, at least by non-Elder-God means.
For the fragment Nomad had taken, it's possible that Sliske could have taken it back off him concerning what he had done to Nomad between the two quests.
About the Dragonkin, I'd assume that the curse is still in effect, but I'd also assume that the curse is in lesser effect as with the stone shattered, nobody can use it completely.
We've seen that the curse pains them the more directly the Stone is used, and perhaps using the fragments of it still pains them, but not to such an extent as using the full Stone.

I suppose "Broken beyond use or repair" is the closest they'll ever get.
I would of thought Artefacts would be indestructible, but apparently a good crack to the skull is enough to break them. RIP Lucien.
Yeah, but then again the functional piece of the Siphon is the bottom which they used to stab Lucien. The top bit is just for decoration, and anything can be put on it.
As for use, Guthix managed to use pieces of the Blade after shattering it, and created more portals heading to Gielinor from it.
Guthix:
"By manipulating the stone of power I found on Gielinor, I moulded many of the broken Blade's fragments into gateways, portals through which mortal life could travel to my perfect world and share in its beauty. I also established a World Gate on Zanaris, but it is prone to instability, its power peaking and ebbing. I have yet to determine the cause."
This suggests that Guthix couldn't exactly fix the Blade, but instead basically glued some of them together to make the World Gates, both on Gielinor and on Zanaris. Gielinor's one was hidden in the Shadow Realm, but by who I don't know. But it would seem that Zanaris' gate was encoded inside the fairy rings after a while of investigating on Guthix's part.
This said, however, Mod Osborne mentioned in a FAQ that Elder Gods could fix the Artefacts, which is hardly surprising.

Yeah, that's what I thought. But if Sliske had taken the fragment from Nomad, what would he have done with it? I'm not sure he would have even bothered to put it back in the Stone. This is something we could have missed during Kindred Spirits, or something that happened shortly after our little excursion into his shadow focus. He might even still have it on him, though that's unlikely since we could just loot it.

Am I just making this up, or didn't they say the TokHaar could also possible repair them?
Ah, great. Now we're going to have a Dragonkin VS. TohHaar war on our hands if that's true.
After all, if there was an unbreakable gun that shot you every time someone touched it, and if someone tried to put it back together after you dismantled the thing, you'd fight tooth and nail to keep them from doing so.
If the TokHaar get wind of the Stone's destruction, and the pieces are still out there, they're going to put the damn thing back together, won't they?

There's an 80% chance that I pulled that lore out of my ass, so don't take it as fact yet.
I don't remember anything about the TokHaar being able to repair them, and I doubt they could since Guthix tried and failed. And let's face it, Guthix was the only mortal to have achieved power greater than Zaros or Seren, and Jas herself stated that even tier 2 gods are nothing to her. But I checked the Wiki and it said that Mod Osborne answered a FAQ on repairing artefacts, that an Elder God could do it.

I'm pretty sure that the curse is still in effect. While Saradomin and Zamorak still retain their powers as False Users, they can no longer gain anything more than they already have. I could see the Dragonkin trying to go after Saradomin and Zamorak now, especially if Kalibath knows about Adrasteia.
