The Wizard's Tower. It has a near complete stranglehold on rune production. The same can be said for magical training. Yes other groups have adapted to those circumstances. But the Wizard's Tower is, well. You're Saradominist or you go home is the rule of thumb...with exceptions.

Well they cannot have the Zamorakians snapping up all the best non-Saradominist Wizards, can they?

Still, Saradomin cannot ignore that resource forever. A tower crammed full of powerful wizards, with a monstrous supply of runes and magic at their disposal. And reportedly Saradominist. The fact that he has not co-opted them before now could be down to needing to establishing a firm foothold before extending his reach.

The question now is where do the wizards stand on the issue of thee returning gods?

Will they follow their supposed god and join in his future battles or turn their back on him?

Will there be dissension in the ranks?

Is Saradomin going to continue to ignore the what the Tower represents? If so...why? O_o

Or will the World Guardian be brought up against the Tower, (against a dissenting few or the whole)?

What do each of the Wizard's groups even do? Where will each stand on the issue of the gods? As I am not even sure what all of them do for instance...

Astromanacer, wizard of the stars! Sees all, hear...Now wait a minuet!

Why have they not drawn a full map of Gielinor while they could see the whole thing from Tuska?!

Why hasn't anyone done so from Gilienor's moon? It does have an entire city on it after all!

Yes, I know he was a plot device. Yes, I know he blew up a monkey to get a lodestone to Tuska and helped save the world! Hey, that monkey never came back, so blown up is a good enough description!

Yet rumour has it that there is an entire continent beyond the Eastern lands... Are you telling me no one knew it was there, because if they did it wouldn't be just rumoured! And Astrowidget could see the entire planet for months !

Does he really the title of Astrodunce?

What does an Astromancer even do? It's certainly not to map anything!

Well I don't know about any one else, but my mind is made up...I here by dub thy Astrodunce!

The wizard's Tower has a lot of different types of wizards. People who specialise in certain fields. There is Runecrafters, Aquamancers, One can only assume that earth, air and fire also have their specialist. Necromancers are frowned on and are not welcome there. Spell crafting seems to be a few and far between skill set there, but There are wizards that specialise in teleporting. The Lodestone network probably has it's own wizard class as well.

Yet the Astromancer says he specialises in space beyond out world.... I didn't see him romping about Frenesekea or any of those other worlds. Nor did he mess with the World Gate when it was discovered. Lots of things that can interact with things "beyond our world".

So what does he do?

He is certainly in a position to launch spying type objects into orbit, does he not know about orbital mechanics?

The Adventurer does lots and lots of things "beyond our world" does that make me an Astromancer? O_o

So I am left asking myself, what exactly is Astromancy, as at present it seems to be chilling out, staring at the sky while drinking a six pack, hoping to spot giant space pigs. Anyone?

And another thing, what did Wizard Chambers needs with all those Tuska fragments? What did he do with them? What did he discover?

The Astromancer is one of the few we can guarantee doesn't care about being Saradominst, as he has been snubbed by his fellows for a long time. He helped everyone and so far has shown no political leanings.

How may other categories of Wizard are there and do they care about religious affiliation, or is it just a case of paying lip service?

What do the wizards and their catagories think of the 6th Age?

Ect.ect. I want to know it all... Wizards. Wizards. Wizards!

Aside from maybe one or two, the wizards at the tower seem pretty weak and their research is a joke. They seem terrified at supporting anything even remotely interesting. The astromancer himself had no support until the last second when Tuska came. So far, their only accomplishment is theorizing that the altars might run out of energy.

Oh well...what can you expect from the branch that created bones to bananas with a corrupt Archmage that wasted his time fruitlessly trying to compare magic to music.
Runescape doesn't need a hero...it needs a villain. An all encompassing force of evil that will remain ever-threatening and use chaos to make the peoples of Gielinor tolerate each other, grow strong together, and fight side by side against this evil. I am that villain.

Provided the moon has a geosynchronous orbit, a thick enough atmosphere, or rotates such that the portion we visit is constantly pointed away (earth's moon constantly has the same side pointing towards the surface of the planet), it is entirely possible that one would be unable to map the world from the surface of the moon (besides who says we've ever been on Zanaris's surface).

As for the Tuska situation, it's important to make note of the astronomical distance between her and Gielinor while we were on her back, the sheer amount of debris around Tuska, and Chamber's artificial atmosphere. Not exactly the best conditions for mapping the planet's surface.

We know there are more wizzies in Yannile and they cannot be totally inept or the ogres would have eaten them a long time ago. As for the Tower, if they are really that weak, then they will be attacked. The Runespan portal is no minor possession, it would be when not if.
