When compared to ghazari rapier osmumten's fang is op especially against high defence targets Was thinking the high defence target effect needs to be nerfed. I think the stats are fine though. I need my blue charms back.

First things first;
He is comparing two raid level items, why do you bring in a common slayer monster drop?

Secondly;
The issue between theese two items, is that they are in the same slot, with the same intended usage areas. So why should the fang be so strong, that it makes the rapier obsolete?

They need to limit its usage area. Currently it is either best, or very close to best at almost all melee content. making other items like scythe, rapier, DHL and basicly every melee weapon obsolete. And its even cheap. So in its current state it kills a lot of good content in the game.

U can get 20m in 3-5 days of regular content, like slayer/skilling. and skip to BiS weapon for tons of content. its stupid.

Your logic is terrible. You’re basically describing the situation OF the abyssal whip as it was many years ago, 20m and best in slot, who gives a crap if the new RAID WEAPON is better than basically everything. Get over it. The rapier is still far more expensive and still quite useful on a wide range of low to high level enemies.

You’re basically telling me I don’t have the right to do well because you hate how effective a weapon is. And that I need to grind HUNDREDS of hours just do get a weapon that shortens that grind by a bit. Get out of here and touch some grass maybe?

Like, iunno what to tell you man. The sword that's meant to be good against high defense, is good against high defense. It's currently the highest level longsword in the game, and I will stand by that comparison.

The Fang is the D long to the Rapier's D Scim, except doing it's actual job in the comparison: trading raw sheer dps for more reliable hits on sub optimal targets. Or an Elder Maul to an Abyssal Cudgel
