this was looked at during a previous game jam and was possibly one of the best ideas ive seen for a while if implemented correctly, i was just wondering if anyone had looking into it further? wave based minigames are great, even short ones like this would have been!

Game Jams as Jagex always mentions don't have any guarantee of being 'jammed' upon further and actually making it into the game. In saying that I was a big fan of the game jam proposal and hope it hasn't disappeared into the ether.

I think that Jagex just has a lot on its plate this year with the roadmap having some big updates and that it's been put on the back burner for a while. I'm confident they'll revisit the high level concept behind this at some point :)

I understand that, just hope it does come to fruition at some point, its one of the most impressive ideas ive heard of (none raid). Wave based minigames are very popular and currently only offer a pet and 2 capes. Be great if we had one with more varied rewards, taskaal trials is a perfect opportunity! Really hope it gets looked at or polled later this year/early next!
