I understand we are all here for a grind, but I feel like hunting chompy's is an unbelievably slow and cumbersome process. I think having an inventory in the shop in Jiggig would be a bit more realistic. I'm looking at 20/25 minutes an inventory of Chompy's and we don't even receive hunting xp for an action that is definitely hunter. Even if we have to hop worlds, buy the inv, and then bank, it's still better than having to grind out a few hours of chompy hunting with little to no experience gain or actual progress.

Maybe I'm in the wrong, feel free to humble me. :)

Support, this is age old content that could use a bit of a refresher. I definitely recommend doing the Hard West Province Diary or at least Medium if you haven't already. This gives a chance of spawning two Chomps birds.

I do like the idea of it providing hunter experience and it would actually be nice if the Chompy Bird Feathered hats gave a slight ranged bonus (but I am fine with them being cosmetic, too). I was actually hunting them last week and remembered why I haven't touched that part of the content since I left the game in 2010, it can be better for sure.

What kind of supplies would you expect to have. The only reason the meat is as expensive as it is, is that there is such a small supply. IF you got it in a store, the prices would fall to the below the store prices.

I would support them having hunter exp.

I cant see how they would not affect it. The only reason they have the value is for the pie and if people making those pies were able to buy them cheaply, they would not hesitate to go to those stores and buy them, causing the price of the wild bird's meat to fall.
