I had an idea for a quest released with Sailing or sometime after release. The basic idea being a conclusion to the sea slug quest line, where you travel to the birthplace of mother mallum and have the final fight there, perhaps with that there could be a new slayer creature released that being giant sea slugs, each one fighting with a different combat style that yields different rewards (similar to automatons from the world wakes quest).
Being that the quest line is also part of the white knights quest line here my idea for the possible rewards, being the white knights are holy warriors of saradomin, one of the head knights like Sir Tiffy uses some kind of Blessing of saradomin to weaken mother mallum for the final fight, the blessing sticking around after the fight and the corpse of mother mallum becomes a spot to recharge your prayer for fighting the giant sea slugs.
For what the sea slugs drop, being that it would involve sailing you could have them drop certain necessary supplies, but also a special reward, each slut being part of the combat triangle, maybe they drop a specific substance (for melee it could be like hardened sea stone, range a sort of feather like coral and magic maybe crystalized slug slime) and with these items with the right smithing/crafting/sailing level, you can craft mid level tank gear that has a small prayer bonus, something that might bridge the gap between nothing, barrows and crystal armor, to help newer players with bossing.
nothing too overpowered, just tankier armor that helps them cop hits from harder bosses like jad and zulrah that newer players wont know how to handle, even having the armor for each combat style and have them only give defence bonus so the player has to sacrifice offence for defence.Have it be something like level 60 or even 55, treated like the tank gear you can get before you're ready for barrows.
