I think this is the most compelling option but I still feel that ice gloves need to remain a unique reward from the heroes quest. I think this dilemma already has workarounds since you don't have to complete the quest at all to defeat the boss and I think that challenge for a skiller is still part of the fun (it's definitely doable for a skiller btw
