Runescape aka LANDSCAPE is aquaphobic. The only time you touch water is when you drink it in Al-Karaid desert but when you go near beaches, you can't even put your feet in it. The water in runescape are like objects in the Truman Show where it looks like something but it's just a prop.

What about the times you have to swim to do a quest or to kill mobs that live underwater.

Or failing the log shortcut in ardougne, you barely survive that fall in the water XD
