One of the biggest let downs of training slayer is the mediocre unlock of dark beasts at level 90 slayer. Aside from the increased drop rate of the imbued heart, the monster is worthless.
I suggest the addition of a new weapon, the Night Bow. The weapon would be nearly identical to the dark bow, except it would be possible charge it with gems and/or runes to give the arrows it fires the same effect (and proc rate) as enchanted bolts.
There is potential to make the weapon degradable and require a dark bow to repair, or potentially it could instead be an upgrade to the dark bow (the night string?) that consumes the bow the same way a tentacle consumes a whip.
The dark bow is such a cool piece of content. It’s shameful to leave it as dead as it is.
