Just wanted to leave a reminder here about errors from the past. I do not know what the new skill will be but I sure know that some of the previous skills caused more trouble to the game than good. We need to not forget these mistakes.

1- The biggest mistake around 2008 was Summoning. That skill literally changed the way the game was played in every aspect. (Combat, skilling, available slots in inventory, etc) Any returning players needed a manual to read in order to understand how to play the game again. The skill was slow to level due to untradeable totems and it was frankly more of a mess than anything else. I know a few players (A minority) mentioned they want it back but these players do have Runescape 3, they will be fine.

2- Many players spoke of having this new skill filled with untradeables. Let's go back to when Herblore came out. The drops allowed low level mobs such as chaos druid to become a viable option to low level players. Also ; Men in the house north of Edgeville were a good source of toadflax. Now, as we can all see, the new boss "Muspa" had to be nerfed from its 86 drop of toadflax drop. What I am pointing at here is how over time ;

The game will always need new content with "better drop tables" and as the game progress, if no new items are present to fill these drop tables, the only other option is to create stronger combat weapons or a new noted drop with several of whatever item it is. In order to slow down on that direction so we can all enjoy the game without feeling behind if we are not PvMing big bosses ; Tradeable items must be released. It will provide a rejunevating feeling to the game and allow low to mid level players a way to farm "x" mobs for some decent money. (We didn't use to have to be almost level 99 in all skills to be able to enjoy the game)

3- Dungeonneering is also a skill that was mentionned. That skill survives on other skills. It wouldn't feel like a skill in itself. It is great content but not enough at this stage
