How about allowing the venator bow cause corruption? It would be nice for the prayer-shield phase, also seeing that you need arrows and ancient essence it would make sense. Also when ancient essence is used to make forgotten brew it increases the users prayer points, so it would make sense that when ancient essence is used against an enemy it drains the targets prayer.
