Today I was doing Desert treasure and I brought down a bruma torch to the smoke dungeon thinking "Oh yeah, this functions as a tinderbox in wintertodt, surely it'll do the same thing anywhere else".
So I burn a couple energy potions to get to the torch in the smoke dungeon, use my bruma torch on the brazier and... nothing.
This was incredibly frustrating. Whats the purpose of having an item that only functions as a tinderbox in one very specific area in the game? Tinderboxes only cost a single coin from most stores, but an item that drops from a boss you have to grind to acquire can't replicate its functionality outside the one place you get it? That's borked honestly.
I think it would be an improvement if it also replicated the effects of a tinderbox outside of wintertodt.
