Honestly, let's be real; this spellbook-although super useful for late game skilling and great for raids/endgame content (we love pot sharing), I think it's time for the dev team to look at making some small but effective changes to the Lunar spellbook.

No, this isn't adding actual combat spells to the book-that's not the original intended purpose of Lunars, nor is it the right direction to take.

Let's take a look at some of the spells that really don't have much utility anymore:

Group Teleports: Most players don't have Accept Aid on and the teleport locations aren't really useful (except for the ice plateau for PKers I suppose..)

Monster Examine: The OSRS Wiki exists.

Cure Other/Cure Me/Cure Group: Great to use in a pinch for non-combat related poison healing, but I think we could use an upgraded version that cures venom on a single cast instead of two. However, let's keep it as a cure and not grant immunity to either.

Hunter Kit: Great for the UIM crew, but I can't see a reason why any non-Iron player won't just go to Aleck's or the GE to buy supplies instead.

Stat Spy: RuneLite plugin. Completely obsolete.

So, where do we go from here?

My suggestion is that we completely remove these spells and replace them with useful support/skilling spells that will give the spellbook some much needed love.

Replace Group Teleports with:
Teleports to different locations-perhaps give us teleports to new in game areas, like the Carniverous Chinchompa hunting area or Crumbling Tower on the Isle of Souls. Or just remove them completely.

Replace Monster Examine with:
A spell requiring a level of 66 that repairs degradable items (Barrows gear ONLY) in the same way a POH Armour repair stand would, costing the same amount of coins from your inventory, reduced based on your Smithing level.

Change the Cure Spells to:
Cure Poison/Cure Group Poison and Cure Venom/Cure Group Venom. The latter must require a higher Magic level to cast. No immunity would be granted from either spell.

Replace Hunter Kit with:
Skilling Kit- Provides the player with a basic skilling toolset (similar to the RS3 Tool Belt), based on a menu selection. Pickaxes and Axes given would be Bronze. I hate forgetting hammers and chisels when I do birdhouse runs. I'm sure others do too.

Replace Stat Spy with:
Replenish-A spell that would require a high (90+) Magic level to cast and have the same effect as if the caster drank a dose of Super Restore potion-except for the Prayer restoration. It would share a cooldown with the two Vengeance spells. It also cures disease.

[[ADDITION]]
Replace Dream with:
Heal Me- A spell requiring 98 Magic to cast, this spell heals the caster for 50% of their maximum HP, but drains your Magic level by 100% of the amount healed and prevents the user from using stat restoration potions and effects for 2 minutes after casting. The spell itself will also have a cooldown of twice that length.
