NEW PVP ARENA / LMS MECHANICS

Goal:
-Adding more gambling / risk taking to PVP (more interesting; new)

SKILL SQUARES:
-Squares last for 15 seconds each

-Squares appear with a question mark (lasts for 3 seconds) and become one of the following risks or rewards:

1. Lava square damages you (must stand on square for effect)

2. Prayer square increases damage in all combat styles by 15%
(once you touch the square the effect lasts until the square disappears)

3. Recoil square deals recoil damage like ring of recoil (must stand on square for effect)

4. Hitpoints heal square 25x restore rate (must stand on square for effect)

5. Defence square increases defence + magic defence by 15% (must stand on square for effect)

6. Poison square starts at 4 damage (once you touch the square the effect lasts until the square disappears)

7. Makes you unfreezable (must stand on square for effect)

8. Ice effect drains stats (must stand on square for effect)

9. Restores special attack faster (must stand on square for effect)

10. Gives you vengeance (1 vengeance every 7.5 seconds) (must stand on square for effect;
first vengeance happens after 7.5 seconds, 2nd vengeance at 15 seconds)

11. Takes off your armour; like the chaos elemental (instant effect)

12. Deactivates all prayers / Drains your prayer to 0 (instant effect)

13. All damage dealt drains opponents prayer by ⅓
(once you touch the square the effect lasts until the square disappears)

14. Spawns a sandwich lady which wacks you over the head with a baguette, causing you to be immobilized for 2 tics (as your body drops to the floor), then she teleports you to a random square in the arena
(rotten sandwich animation)

15. Imbued heart special applies every 3 seconds (must stand on square for effect)


MECHANICS:
-add a new "fight option":
1. You cannot stand underneath your opponent.
2. You can only stand under opponent for 4 tics (auto moved after 4 tics + banned from standing on opponent)

Defence square increases defence + magic defence by 15% (must stand on square for effect)

ANIMATION:
1. Bricks quickly begin spawning (1 after the other), stacking on top of each other.
2. The bricks will form a wall in front of the character.
3. The "slightly transparent" brick wall will briefly appear in front of the player for 1-2 tics.
4. While the effect is active the player's character looks "charged up"; a transparent brick design "flashes" inside the character's body.




9. Restores special attack faster; adds a 12.5% chance to "pronct" bolt spec; blood barrage heals 20% more hitpoints.
(must stand on square for effect)




FAIRY DRAGON:
One of the players activates the square then a random event occurs.
1. The "updated" Fairy Dragon from Recipe For Disaster (ceramic vase) spawns, and begins floating (at walking speed) towards whatever opponent is closest.
2. The Fairy Dragon begins attacking a player once it makes contact.
3. Both players try to avoid the event by running around and freezing the opponent.
4. You can freeze the NPC using freeze spells at the cost of losing an attack against your opponent; in order to protect yourself
5. The Fairy Dragon has "blowtorch breath" (purple with pink highlights)
6. Once the Fairy Dragon makes contact with a player it "clings onto player" (moving at same speed as player; no avoiding it anymore) as it delivers its dragon breath attack.
7. Players are able to protect magic against the dragon breath; forcing them to switch to protect from magic prayer, or take large damage.

The Fairy Dragon's Attack:
V1: 3 Dragon breathes; each dragon breath is 1 tic apart (0.6 seconds); causes the opponent to have a "lower chance" to hit player off prayer.
V2: 2 Dragon breathes; each dragon breath is 2 tics apart (1.2 seconds apart); causes the opponent to have a "higher chance" to hit player off prayer.




Animation: "Lightning charged"
1. Player has "slightly transparent" lightning bolts coursing through their character's body.

-Adding new "fight options" to PVP ARENA:



1. The option to choose what random event tiles you want to spawn during the fight;
Option 1: All power ups
Option 2: All negative effect squares (+ unlimited dragon spear specs; helping players freeze, and push opponents onto the negative squares)
Option 3: Custom mixture
(loadout set is interchangeable; allowing players to pick their favourite tiles)



2.
Option 1: Only 1 player can claim the effects of a power up square
Option 2: Both players can claim the effects of a power up square



3. Eliminating / limiting the ability to walk under opponent during fight.
V1: You cannot stand underneath your opponent.
V2: You can only stand under opponent for 4 tics
(if you stand on opponent for more than 4 tics your character is automatically moved out from under them, and your character becomes "banned" from standing on the opponent for 30 seconds)



4. "NEW DRAGON SPEAR" that pushes opponents 2 squares at a time.

Animation: STAR POWER
An astral star spins above players head, and player starts "exploding like a star"
(with a slightly transparent animation inside body;"firecape / explosion animation"; the fire is random colour each time: Purple, Green, Red, Yellow, Blue, Orange, Pink, Gold, Silver)



6. Poison square starts at 4 damage
(once you touch the square the effect lasts until the square disappears)
Animation: SNAKE BITE
A large "phantom" snake head appears above character.
The snake bites down on the character, then disintegrates into a green smoke cloud.



16. DRAIN ENERGY TILE

17. BLOOD FURY HEALING EFFECT TILE

18. MAKES ALL ATTACK 0.6 SECONDS FASTER TILE (like ninja sigil; DEADMAN MODE)

19. ALL FOOD HEALS + 5 HP, AND HEALS ABOVE MAD HP TO 125
(using the effect: you step on square and combo eat really fast)

20. STAT BOOSTNG SQUARE; Boosts a random stat; designed to increase max hits
a. Ranged (+18)
b. Attack + Strength, (+24)
c. Magic damage in the armour loadout that fades away with time, (+5 MAGIC DAMAGE; effect disappears upon drinking saradomin brew + fades at a speed that is balanced to the "super range pot&quot ;)
d. Defence (+24)

19. ALL FOOD HEALS + 5 HP, AND HEALS ABOVE MAD HP TO 125
(using the effect: you step on square and combo eat really fast)

Animation: The culinaromancer (from RFD) appears (like a random event; beside the player), folds in half at the waist (like a bow), then the top part of his body explodes, and a bunch of food comes out of his body while his legs stand up straight on the ground.





20. Recurrent damage (1/4 damage increase)
Animation: A Ninja Monkey (from Ape Atoll) appears beside the player, and follows the character around.
The Ninja Monkey Archer while shooting a "slightly delayed" arrow at the opponent, Archer shoots everytime the player hits the opponent; the damage the arrow does is equal to 1/4 the damage done from the attack





16. DRAIN ENERGY TILE
Option 1: Drains run energy to 0, and deactivates run for 15 seconds.
Option 2: Movement is slowed for 15 seconds.

Animation: An anchor appears above the character, then slams down on them (like Barrelchest Anchor Special Attack)





18. MAKES ALL ATTACK 0.6 SECONDS FASTER TILE (like ninja sigil; DEADMAN MODE)
Animation: A transparent cheetah / leopard print begins flashing inside the characters body;




Flashing Animation options:
Option 1: One long flash that lasts 1 tic (on and off) every 4 tics (2.4 seconds)
Option 2: Constantly flashing (on / off) like a siren every 1 tic.
Option 3: One flash that lasts 2 tics (the transparent animation gains saturation, and becomes more colourful), every 2 tics

17. BLOOD FURY HEALING EFFECT TILE
V1: All attacks heal player by 10% of damage dealt. (1 hp per 10 damage, always rounding up) Example: player hits 20 and heals 2 hitpoints; player hits 21 and heals 3 hitpoints

V2: All attacks heal player by 20 % of damage dealt.

V3: The next 3 attacks heal player by 50% of damage dealt.




21. DEACTIVATES BOTH PLAYERS PRAYER TILE
V1: Each player has 3 random prayers disabled on their prayer book

V2: Each player has 7 random prayers disabled on their prayer book

V3: A random script chooses ONE protection prayer to disable for 5 seconds

V4: A random script chooses ONE protect prayer to disable for 15 seconds
