Currently, when the location of a high tier star is known, the world the star is in receives a rapid large influx of players, often times completely filling up this world. If this rapid influx of players creates a lag in the world, then both spreading out the players hunting shooting stars across worlds, as well as having players enter these worlds at a more gradual rate should be a good solution.
My suggestion includes two things things:
1) Make higher tier stars more common. Currently when the landscape of available known stars looks like a plethora of low tier stars, and 1 high tier star, everyone flocks to the world with the high tier star for better exp rates, and a longer afk session.
Making higher their stars more common should spread out the players hunting these stars across more worlds, preventing 1 world from being lag spiked.
2) Introduce an upgrade to the POH telescope to allow for the identification of the size of star. This will allow for the known location of desirable high tier stars before they land and become immediately discovered, preventing a mass influx of people entering the world all at once when the star is announced. Players knowing the location of a high tier star in a particular world before it lands will cause a more gradual increase in players coming into the world, rather than having a mad dash to the star already available.
I would love to here what you think about the efficacy of these suggestions.
