A few days ago I tried OSRS for the first time, and it was pretty good, except I found it frustrating that it was so hard to move around, since my stamina gets drained so quickly, and the only agility course available for level 1 is the Gnome agility course which is so far away... I would suggest Jagex to include a level 1 agility course in Lumbridge, as well as include it in the tutorial, and also include it in the adventure paths to incentivize beginners to train agility so they don't get frustrated with taking so long getting around.

a quick way of getting there, go to edgeville, pull the leave slightly south of the bank (this will enter you into wilderness which is PvP, so dont bring anything) the right click the leaver again after teleporting and select ardougne, you will now be in ardougne which is very close gnome stronghold.

but to the suggestion, it probably would be a nice idea to have an agility course in lumbridge for level 1, even if it is less xp than gnome agility. would defintely make things nicer for new players when starting

Personally, I always wondered why they would put the first agility course so far away. That said, one of the first p2p quest you should consider doing outside the lumbridge area is the Waterfall quest, since it gives you so much combat exps. Since it is nearby, you can do the course first. I would consider getting a few Ardounge teletabs from the ge.

Edit, another option would be to ask people if they had the camolot teleother spell.

You can do 11 easy quest before leaving lumbridge/ draynor villiage/ varrock area.

This is a good idea, especially for new P2P players. With that said, definitely start out agility by doing quests that reward agility experience- it'll get you past some of the lower levels which is super nice (I did this when starting out most of my skills).

I know a lot of people who worked toward the full graceful outfit (even just two pieces works wonders!) when they first started out which is a great goal to have. You'll find that you use graceful for pretty much everything, including questing.

Definitely support but just to nitpick, I'd say that truly new players wouldn't really be fussed by the run energy issue because they don't yet know what faster regen actually looks and feels like.

I think once they start training it they'll see the value of weight/run energy mechanics.
