Item: Concentrated Essence - An untradeable item obtained every 1/50ish succesful mining attempts at Rune Essance. It acts just like Pure Essence but when crafted yields multipe runes. Perhaps 10+ additional runes? Concentrated Essence can be used in a Rune Pouch just like Rune / Pure Essence.
Maybe a miniquest or short quest unlocks the ability to obtain this Concentrated Essence. The idea of it being untradeable would be to prevent the GE from obtaining a pretty game breaking speed of Rune Crafting. But if added in, could provide more reason to visit the Rune Essence. As it stands, Guardians makes up the vast majority of the Runecrafting experience, for good reason. Great xp and rewards. But there are times when the old way of runecrafting fits into the more laid back nature of playing Runescape. Concentrated Essence could be a method of making the orignal Runecrafting methods more viable.
This would be especially attractive to Ironmen who physically need to acquire Essence in order to craft outside of Guardians.
