Just an idea, but what about combining the 3 skills polled and creating a new skill from this. This can play into the already included pirates in the game and with the background work already invested in sailing it can be an aspect of plundering, so you can sail but and that could be a way to train the skill but you're not locked to it. This can tie in the already used clue scroll mechanic as another way to train the skill, and allow for more reward for compiling clue scrolls, especially if you don't get a good drop. Rewards could revolve around ideas from shamanism where parts of the buff comes from whatever is integrated from the whole pirate idea, different types of poisons to do different things, reinforcing armor, weapons etc. Having a customizable pirate ship like construction and being able to change up construction training as well to make it less of a price sink, while still allowing for more exploration of new areas and storage locations for runs etc. Imagine being able to bank my a shore because you parked your boat there?
Just an idea I thought of after reading about the new skills. I know there is already development for the skills produced and Im unsure if any new ideas are being considered, but I feel a lot of the chief concerns about the new skills is being forced to do one thing to level up a skill. But feel free to let me know what you think of this idea or what could be improved! It could be a good balance of what the 3 different skills are trying to accomplish?
Thanks for the read! And happy scaping!
