While I'm excited for Varlamore and the content polled there, question 5, concerning Kourend changes, left me feeling a bit cornered.
In general, I'm against the removal of the favour system. I understand it has become more of an early-game annoyance, but I love the lore implications and the incentive to spend real time in each region. I do believe that a re-haul and softening is needed, but if given the chance I would vote against the removal of favour in its entirety.
That being said.
I love the improved transportation methods proposal. Trailblazer Reloaded has really highlighted for me how horrid the transportation in Kourend is without Kharedst's memoirs, and it's definitely something Kourend is lacking. If given the chance, I'd vote for it.
Yet, both changes are rolled into one question. To me it almost feels like I'm being forced to accept the thing I don't like to vote yes to the thing I do like? Which I feel is hardly reasonable in a poll that only has five questions.
I voted no in any case, but I hope that, whatever outcome, we can have more input on the implementation of these proposals.
