I have been really enjoying the Leagues which are currently up and going, however its a shame this is only 2 months and I would like to potentially try multiple different builds so I have got an idea/suggestion and hopefully this would be possible.
Why don't we have some all year around servers going? Just like the DMM Servers, however with a twist.
For an example; You currently have got this version of the leagues, run this 1 year long over 4 different seasons. Lets use the yearly seasons, you will have 4x 3 Months. Spring, Summer, Autumn & Winter.
This means you can try 4 different builds, with different area's and therefore different content being available.
Once a season is completed in full, your account will be re-set and you can start over choosing a different route.
In a way to make this an interesting competition still I would suggest keeping the Col Logs linked to the account (If this is possible) so you can try to unlock as many col logs in 1 year with the boosts to make this possible. Which you can keep up to date with in the High Scores. At the end of the year the player with the most Col Logs will win.
In order to achieve this you will require to play different areas and combination builds. If not 'completed' an area in full meaning you have to plan to go back to get the Collection logs in full to remain competing on the High Scores.
I personally would enjoy this a lot and believe that other players would as well. See it as a little private server with constant boosts and opportunities to try different builds every 3 months where you can get that feeling and thrive again to collect specific items.
I am not sure if this is something what would be possible to do and/if there is enough animo for this. However some of my mates I have spoken to would be up for this as you don't have to grind it in one go as some of us do have work/families outside of RuneScape haha.
