This upgrade is primarily set out to do 2 main things: 1 make the barrows weapons potentially more relevant and 2 item sink/increase demand on less popular items. These are not supposed to become best in slot, but it does allow more flexibility with the weapons similar to the way the armor is utilized.
Each upgrade requires giving the gravedigger above the barrows a specific selection of items.
All weapons will require giving him 6 amulets of the damned to help along with the specific items noted below.
Ahrim cost: one set of bloodbark and one set of swampbark armor and 10K mind and Body and 1K soul runes
Ahrim staff upgrade: ability to auto cast Arceus Magic and 5% greater effect from ancient and Arceus magic effects. (Reminder full set with amulet of the damned allows auto cast of ancients). Additionally has the effects of full sets of BB and SB
Karil cost: seercull and 1K bolt racks
Karil crossbow upgrade: holds the target in place for 5.4s (9 ticks) similar to a magic freeze effect, after 5.4s the target will be unable to be frozen in place again for 2.4s (4 ticks)
Torag cost: granite hammer, granite maul, and 50 nail beast nails
Torag hammer upgrade: becomes 2 hitsplats but only uses the original accuracy roll with the first doing 0-90% of max hit and the second doing 10%-50% of max hit
Veracs flail cost: Sarachnis cudgel, barronite mace, and 50 urium shade remains
Veracs flail upgrade: becomes 1 handed +2 additional prayer bonus
Guthans cost: granite longsword, dragon spear p++, and 1K blood runes
Guthans warspear upgrade: 15% chance to heal 50% of the damage dealt when below 60% HP. This stacks with the armor effect additively.
Dharoks cost: Hill Giant Club, Dragon 2H sword, and 1K big bones
Dharoks upgrade: 10 strength bonus
