Iron Refuge isn’t just a clan;
it’s a tight knit group of individuals that saw an opportunity to make something special.
Iron Refuge houses an incredible gaming family, but what exactly makes us different?

IR (Iron Refuge) was established on three main principles:
Dedication, Integrity, and Esprit De Corps.

These founding principles have allowed Iron Refuge to provide a safe-haven
for over 300 members in our community.

While Iron Refuge does applaud and recognize accolades, we place a higher value on a
positive attitude, professionalism, and having a good time.

IR has both casual and competitive players who actively participate in our community.
This means that we do not have a level requirement, nor do we require you to pass a test before you join.

It doesn’t matter if you are a maxed account or if you’re just starting out:
every ironman is welcome in our community.

Rules & Requirements

Iron Refuge is an IM, HCIM, & UIM only clan:
only regular, hardcore, and ultimate ironmen/women will be allowed to join the clan.
All things considered, we do not have any requirements to join besides being in our discord server. It is required to be in the discord server to be a member.
All iron players will always be welcome regardless of time played or experience. There is a 7 day waiting period on applications. Please feel free to hang out in our cc and discord until then and get to know everyone!
Note: We currently have a soft total level requirement of 500 to prevent spammers.

If Iron Refuge seems like a good fit we expect you to follow:
OldSchool RuneScape's rules as well as our Code of Conduct.

Our Code of Conduct is located exclusively in our Discord and we encourage each member to thoroughly review it upon joining.

Please note that multi-clanning is not allowed.

Iron Refuge does not condone harassment of any kind.
This includes discrimination based on: race, gender, age, religious affiliation, or any other personal interest or belief. Owner of Iron Refuge

Ranking System

Our ranking system is based on achievements in game. Full details are within our discord.
Gold stars are administrators
SIlver stars are moderators
Our ranking system is also only viewable within our Discord.

Accepting a leadership position is a personal choice, therefore if you cannot handle the responsibility or don't have the amount of time needed to fulfill the needs of that role,
please don’t accept the position.

Members that show interest in becoming a leader will be required to go through sufficient training that will be performed on a case-by-case basis. Owner of Iron Refuge

How to Join

If you have an interest in joining, please visit our clan chat in-game and hang out with us. There is a 7 day waiting period so getting to know everyone in clan chat is the best way to vibe with us.
This can be done by going to the clan system and searching "Iron Refuge" as a guest.
We require a valid application on file before assigning a rank.
All new members should immediately review our code of conduct.

In order to be considered an Iron Refuge member, you must fill out an application.
The application can be found on our discord by following the invite at the top and bottom of this post.
Feel free to message an officer directly if you have an interest in joining.
Please avoid use of the friends chat as that channel has been discontinued.

Please fill out the application by following the discord link and typing !ezapply iron refuge in #applications channel if you wish to apply.
