Initially founded in 2018,
Roasted
has been a staple in the community for Old School Runescape clans. Our clan model, democratic leadership system, and event ideas have helped to inspire others to build their cleans to unmeasurable success; however, one thing has been missing since we've been gone - a free speech driven community where users are encouraged to speak their minds without the fear of repercussion.

At the onset of the pandemic in 2020,
Roasted
leadership decided it would be best to put the clan on hiatus while we assisted in front line services since we were primarily founded by healthcare workers and military personnel. Those times have come to an end as almost every original
Roasted
member has resumed their gameplay, picking right back up where we left off.

With our leadership remaining largely unchanged over the last five years, it makes it easy for us to embolden members to express their opinions and engage in lively discussions, as we believe that this is the best way to build strong relationships and promote growth, both as a group, and individually.

While our rules are lax, we do expect adherence to them to keep the environment as healthy & non-toxic as possible for our members. We encourage diverse views to voice their opinion in a hate-free environment that provokes free-thinking; however, also understand that this game is where most people come to escape. We ask that you consider this prior to letting tempers flare, or when the trolling must come to an end. Acceptance of the rules is mandatory to join the clan Discord and is used as evidence in RuneWatch reports in the event of any scams and/or tomfoolery

Weekly Competitions

Roasted Clan specializes in bringing clan members a diverse event calendar, with weekly competitions alternating between Boss of the Week (BoTW) and Skill of the Week (SoTW) on a monthly basis. With so many skills and bosses in the game, it's easy to get lost in the sea of content, so we aim to focus our events towards prioritizing account progression, while inspiring competition to really create the perfect environment to grind.

Monthly Event Calendar

Clan, we recognize that we attract the more adult player-base and understand that life is riddled with tasks from work, school, family, volunteer duties, etc. The leadership prides themselves on working meticulously to schedule rotating events that you can fit into your calendar to feel like a part of the group, without making real life sacrifices. These events typically take place over the weekends throughout various times of the day, but also get sprinkled into weekdays as well, to give you the best chance of being able to attend.

Monthly event calendars are published in Discord and on the Official OSRS forums by the 1st of each and every month.


Events include everything from Competition of the Week , Competition of the Month , Scheduled Drop Parties , Movie Nights , & More! Be sure to check out the calendar so you don't miss a beat!

How to Join?

When initially creating
Roasted
, we began by looking at the application process of various clans and guilds throughout RuneScape and other popular MMORPGs. The conclusion we ultimately came to, is that it felt like virtual HR, and we wanted to create an environment that didn't demand everything short of an official I-9 form. Due to the audience we are looking to attract, we felt it was best for us to break away from the norm, and require the minimum to join the clan and obtain rank - this enables us to create a streamlined & efficient process that benefits you, the clanee by not absorbing your time, and us, the clan leadership, by not being weighed down with virtual paperwork.

Different Ways to Join


1.) Follow the Discord link (https://discord.gg/pHy7TACa) - this will guide you to our Discord Channel where you can:

- View & agree to our rules
- Introduce yourself!
- Select your beginning rank
- Direct Message any moderator+ to obtain in-game rank

2.) You guessed it, the OSRS Official Forums (A.K.A, this post!) - simply highlight the application questions below, click reply, paste them into the text box, and submit your answers!

Please note, your OSRS Official Forum application will obtain you a rank in the clan; however, you will not be able to progress beyond the introductory ranks without joining the Discord. Most of our members are voice chat active and require you to be in chat for various events and activities, such as Chambers of Xeric, Tombs of Amascut, GwD, and other high-tiered content.
