What is Manchester?

Manchester is a beginner friendly Casual/Social/PvM clan with an emphasis on helping players on their Old School Runecape adventure reach their goals.
Our goal is to create a clan culture that promotes helping everyone on their Runescape journey.
From a simple question like, "How do I get started with Slayer" To asking "What gear and levels would you recommend for me to get into CoX, ToB, or ToA?" Manchester is here to assist you!
As leaders of this clan we are also learning new things about the game as well (like ways to more efficiently do endgame content, time saves, etc), so there's a good chance you could teach us a thing or two! :)

How to join?

Copy and paste the Discord link above and join our Discord. From there navigate to the rules channel and read through them.
In the general chat simply ask to join the in-game clan and a leader will get back to you as soon as we're able. You could also join the in game CC and see if someone can get you in there.

Clan/Discord Rules

1)
Be respectful towards all members. No discrimination, homophobia or racism allowed. Abuse, toxicity and harassment will not be tolerated.

2)
No pornography or NSFW material.

3)
No spamming.

4)
We allow swearing. Please do not report clan members in game for swearing. We are all adults.

5)
Respect the official in-game rules and terms of service. Cheating/scamming is not permitted.

6)
Follow the specific channel guidelines to post in the correct channels. Please read the channel descriptions before you post.

7)
Server names will be matched to your in-game names so we know who people are. If you change your in-game name then please communicate this to a Leader/Moderator so we can update the spreadsheet tracker.

8)
Respect splitting loot when you’re doing content with other clan members.

9)
PKing clan members is not permitted out of respect for each other unless you specifically agree with each other that this is ok.

10)
All clan members are welcome to join all events.

Staff Rules


1)
The leadership team of the clan must act with integrity.

2)
If you’re part of the leadership team, it’s a given that you’ll be expected to perform some small duties such as moderating the clan chat/discord, handling clan recruitment/discord roles and actively answering people in the clan chat.

3)
Kicking a member is last resort unless there is serious rule-breaking. Members must be given fair warning to stop bad behaviour first.

4)
Power abuse results in ban

Firstly it’s important to note that there is no official time requirement for a rank up. All rank ups will be awarded based on your activity and dedication to make us a better clan. Here’s a list of what that includes but is not limited to:

-Following rules and being a good clan member
-Participating in both discord and clan chat conversations
-Taking part/organising clan activities
-Making the most of the social clan aspect by trying to play with other clan members
-Making positive additions to the clan such as helpful feedback.suggestions, recruiting more members, organising clan events.

Staff ranks

Leader (Gold and Silver key icon)
Moderator (Gavel/Hammer icon)

-Staff ranks will be awarded to trusted members of the clan if we need to increase the moderating team.

Monthly ranks

Spoon of the Month (Berserker/Battleaxe icon)

This rank will be given to the member who gets the most spooned drops in the month. Drops will be tracked through the #loot-drops channel and added to a spreadsheet and the top members will be polled at the end of the month. The winner will be awarded this rank for the full month. This is an esteemed rank.

Skiller of the Month (Skiller icon)

This rank will be given to the member who gets the most XP in-game in the month. This will be tracked through our Wise Old Man Group https://wiseoldman.net/groups/5038
