Welcome to Rent Free, a 100+ Social, PvM, and PvP clan.

Our community is a friendly and unique environment for most players. We strive to be accepting of any experience level, and host many events including skilling competitions, clan bingos, hide and seek, trivia, drop parties, zombie events, and many more, covering all aspects of group activities.

Founded in 2022, we have grown into a thriving community with the ambition to become the best clan in Old School Runescape.

Our clan is lead by a group of dedicated players and close friends who have years of experience within the game and clan community, ensuring that being a member of Rent Free is second to none.

Introduction

Rent Free started as a clan of friends, an escape from reality, and a clan with no requirements to participate in activities, sketchy websites to apply on, or PvM splits required to rank up. We still hold true to these values, but as the clan grew to eventually be over 400 members, we've opened our circle to the greater online community. Most members of our moderator team have known each other for years, creating a close-knit team that gets along together and resolves conflict well. We also boast many experienced members who are always willing to share in-game knowledge and provide advice, or even a simple chat!

What We Do

We expect members to be active and social within the clan chat and on our Discord server and show loyalty towards the clan. Commitment is important as it helps the clan grow in size and strength, and there are plenty of events and activities run by us for you to enjoy.

As a member of Rent Free, you will find that we like to do everything, we love to PvM but we also get involved with all aspects of the game. Personally, I love PvP ;)

Ranking System

Our ranking system is based mainly on total level, with specialty ranks awarded for acquiring certain capes in the game (Fire Cape, Infernal Cape, Max Cape). We stray away from requiring splits or time in the clan for ranks, and verify that every member is clean on RuneWatch before giving a rank.

Clan Rules

1: All members must obey the game rules.

2: Treat others with respect and look after other members in our clan.

3: The clan chat must remain a safe and enjoyable environment for all members and visitors.

4: In general, items lent out should be acquired with collateral. Never expect an item to be returned.

5: All PvM trip drops are split unless team agrees upon differently before the trip.

6: Please be courteous when using Discord.

How To Apply

We are mainly looking for higher combat levels (100 cmb+), but this can be negotiated.

To apply, please join our Discord server: discord.gg/gCR6U7wGQ5

Discord is highly recommended, but not required. Full Discord access is only given after you have joined the clan chat in-game.

Once there, you will be welcomed by our Rent Free Bot, which will have an application embedded in the welcome message. Fill out and post the application form in #public-chat.

Once you have been accepted, you can ask anyone in the clan to be invited, and, after a couple of days in the clan or strong activity, ask any moderator to update your rank in the clan chat.

Feel free to join our clan chat as a guest if you're not sure about applying!
