¸.•°ï¦ How to rank up in GB ¦ï°•.¸

In GB we have regular leadership meetings where we discuss potential rank ups. We base this on:

• Event attendance
• Clan Chat activity
• Time in clan
• Clan contributions
• Maturity and helpfulness

It is possible to rank up faster than the suggested timescale. You will be eligible for merit based rankups once you are at least halfway through the time needed for the next rank. These are not mandatory for anyone, but you can increase your chances of ranking up faster by:

• Using the Clan Discord
• Hosting Events
• Bumping this thread
• Recruiting people

1 ~ Please follow all Old School Runescape rules.

2 ~ Do not ask for GP/other items in the clan chat. Keep it in private chat and if someone says no do not continue to bug them about it.

3 ~ Scamming will not be tolerated. The first occurrence will be an immediate ban from GB and you will be placed on RSJ/Runewatch.

4 ~ Be respectful. If you have a problem with someone please take it to private chat and get a Leader involved if necessary. Taking it to PM does NOT mean you have can flame clanmates without repercussion if they choose to bring it to our attention.

5 ~ Do not ask for rank ups. If you want to know when to expect a rank up, check out the bottom half of the Ranks and Responsibility section, which is post #5 on this page.

6 ~ Please keep controversial topics out of the clan chat. This can include Politics, Staking, Race, Religion, etc.

7 ~ The decisions made by our leadership team are final. Drama will not be tolerated.

8 ~ Do not spam or flame in the clan chat. We will kick if things get out of hand.

9 ~ Please keep your personal grudges to yourselves or take them to private chat. Nobody should have their gaming experience ruined because of other people's drama. You are not expected to like everyone, but you are expected to remain civil to clanmates, this includes PKing clan members.

10 ~ Do not post suspicious links in Discord. We will only allow well known games, social media, and well known screenshot hosts.

11 ~ When you form a team with other GB members, the default expectation is that all valuable drops will be split regardless of individual contribution. If circumstances prevent a willing person from contributing to the kill for an unreasonable amount of time and splits cannot be resolved, raise the issue with staff.

Our events are always posted on our Discord, or when possible we will include them in our forum bumps. All ranked members are welcome and encouraged to host and attend events.

• Trialist:
This rank is for our new members accepted into their trial period. All trial periods last one month. These members are rated on their participation in chat and/or in voice chats, forums, behavior, and activity.

• Recruit:
Members who have passed their trial period of one month. The green mask denotes that the member is officially a ‘Green Bandit’!

•Adept:
Members who have been in the clan for six months

• Elite:
Members who have been in the clan for a year.

• Senior:
The black mask is given to members who have shown loyalty and commitment to the clan for over two years. Members can rise to this rank faster through beneficial activity and dedication to the clan.

• Elder
Elder members are amongst our longest-standing members of the clan. This rank is only given to those who have been active and committed to GB for over four years, and members cannot rise to this rank before that time. Elder is one of our most prestigious non-staff ranks, only behind Legacy and Retired Leader.

•Legacy Members:
Legacy members or retired members, rare exceptions are made for previous RS3 members working on reaching OSRS clan requirements.

•Retired Leader:
A previous leader who has shown great commitment to the clan, but has retired from their leader position.

•Retired Founder:
Awarded to those who's impact on the clan is everlasting and will always be regarded as a founder of the clan. Their involvement in the clan over their stay has granted them a special rank to signify their past, present and future endeavors within the clan.

• Chat Moderator:
Awarded to any Elite or Senior rank who consistently shows they are able to help others, keep things civil in the CC, and are active in game. Ranks are approved through an application process. Responsibilities include assisting other members, adding approved applicants, and monitoring the clan chat.

• Admin:
Awarded to any Chat Moderator showing commitment in their role as well as helping the clan to progress further as a community. Responsibilities include assisting other members, bumping RS forums, reviewing applications, and monitoring the clan chat. Admins are active in both clan chat and Discord and does the heavy lifting regarding organizing clan events.

• Council:
Awarded to any Admin rank showing profound involvement in administration tasks and displays leadership qualities in their attitude towards the clan and its members. Responsibilities include moderating the clan chat and Discord, hosting events, forum activity, adding new members, and providing Leaders with detailed opinions for any and all decisions (ranking ups/deranks, addressing clan issues, etc.).

• Leaders:
Leaders of Green Bandits who oversee all ranks and their responsibilities. This rank has the final say in regards to any issues or decisions within the clan.

Green Bandits was founded in 2004 by Albert1949. Before the official clans and before the GE when pking was at its prime, Alb trained his character and enjoyed the Pking life with his World 72 friends and foes. Looking for a better way to communicate with his friends and other pkers, he founded the Green Bandits. Naming his clan after a cherished memory, the Green Bandits were born.

From the meetings in Varrock halls to our Tier 5 RS2 Citadel, we grew and expanded into the Community Clan we are today. We warred, PvM'd and we grew to know each other and call each other 'friend'.

After 8 long successful years, we left Runescape and continued with our lives only to return with a goal and motivation to become bigger, better and stronger then ever.
